During the brutal winter of 1865, in the wilderness of Finnmark, Norway, a young couple is forced to make a desperate decision and commit an unthinkable act.
Many generations later, a group of hikers from England arrives in the same remote wilderness. Drawn by its rugged beauty and ancient superstitions, they soon find themselves stalked by a dark and malevolent force as the lines between reality and folklore begin to blur.
